Pretty in Pink (1986) is a classic John Hughes teen film about Andie Walsh (Molly Ringwald), a working-class high schooler from the "wrong side of the tracks" who navigates social pressures and a complex love triangle with popular rich kid Blane (Andrew McCarthy) and quirky best friend Duckie (Jon Cryer), ultimately choosing her own path for prom despite class divides, peer disapproval, and family struggles, ending with her finding love and self-acceptance.
